Owner and photographer Judy Eliyas believes wedding photography is
both a visual narrative of the days emotions and an historical
documentation to be passed on to future generations. The
images should tell "your" story…from the buttoning
of the dress to the clinking of the champagne glasses. To
ensure that all the important details are captured, there is
no limit to the amount of time spent with you on your wedding
day. The ultimate goal is a collection of photographs which
allow even someone who was unable to attend your wedding to
feel as if they were there.
Although
we also shoot color, we do specialize in black & white,
and approach this with a purist attitude. We shoot a variety
of black & white films for different situations and needs.
We hand print all black and white photographs in our darkroom
to maintain complete control of the image. We also use
alternative processes including hand-applied emulsions on
watercolor paper, hand tinting, and toning. The art of
wedding photography has no rules or formulas…only images
that speak for themselves.
